Work Visa
Canada is a prime destination for many foreign nationals who are seeking employment opportunities. A work permit allows you to work in Canada, but alone does not permit you to travel to Canada. To come to Canada, you will need either a temporary resident visa.
What We Offer
A Canadian work permit is the permission to take a job within Canada if you are from a foreign country. You usually need a work permit to work in Canada. To apply for a work permit, most candidates will require a Canadian job offer. Canada issues two types of work permits: employer-specific work permits and open work permits. We offer the following type of work permits:
- LMIA-based Work Permit
- Work Permit Extention
- Intra-Company Transfer
- Free-Trade Agreements
- Francophone Mobility Program
- CAQ (Quebec only)
General Eligibility Requirements for All Applicants
- Show that you have enough money to take care of yourself and your family members during your stay in Canada and to return home
- Be in good health and have a medical exam, if needed
- Obey the law and have no record of criminal activity, a police clearance certificate may be required
- Prove to an officer that you will leave Canada when your work permit expires
Francophone Mobility Work Permit
The Francophone mobility work permit makes it easier for Canadian employers to hire you without a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), if you meet certain requirements and you are destined to live and work outside the province of Quebec.

Eligibility Criteria for the Francophone Work Permit
- Meet the general eligibility requirements for a work permit, outlined above
- Live and work in 1 of the 9 Canadian provinces or 3 territories outside Quebec
- Be able to prove that your speaking and listening skills in French are at an intermediate level
- Have an offer of employment for a job that’s classified under any Training, Education, Experience and Responsibilities (TEER) category of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system
